All 3F Chimica production plants fully comply with current environmental regulations, as evidenced by its UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 certification. The Company's accomplishments with respect to environmental protection stem from the efforts of a team of engineers that continually endeavors to improve techniques at production plants. The group focuses its efforts on:

• REDUCING THE CONSUMPTION OF NATURAL RESOURCES - an in-house engineering service makes continual improvements to plants to reduce the consumption of natural resources;
• ADOPTING THE BEST METHODS AVAILABLE FOR WASTE TREATMENT - plants adopt the best methods available to reduce the impact of atmospheric emissions (thermal combustion plant) and discharge water (chemical-physical-biological treatment plant for wastewater).
• OPTIMIZING WASTE MANAGEMENT - production processes are optimized to minimize waste production and reutilize process fluids as much as possible.
