As a manufacturer, 3F Chimica is subject to REACH, the new European regulations on the registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemical substances.

In order to meet market challenges while complying with European and international regulations, a Regulatory Affairs Office was created, which heads the Research and Development Division. A team of specialists handles the registration of the substances produced and imported, managing the most complex technical and scientific aspects of the process. In the interest of transparency, clarity and safety, customers are kept informed of the proper use and handling of products, thereby protecting worker safety and the environment.

3F Chimica's activities with respect to Regulatory Affairs are in line with the continually evolving European framework on chemicals, particularly:

• Increase protection of human health and the environment from risks relating to chemical substances;
• Improve the competiveness of the European chemical industry, which is a strategic business for the EU;

In collaboration with our largest European competitors, 3F Chimica promotes scientific conferences and lobbying efforts, with the objective of defending the common interests of polymer manufacturers, promoting greater awareness of the benefits of flocculants and emphasizing their importance in modern life and the modern economy.
